Admissions Process

5 clear steps. The admissions team supports you at every stage.

01

Online Application

Fill out the form at the bottom of this page. Add a letter of motivation explaining why you want to study gastronomy and what your goals are.

02

Profile Review

Our team reviews your application. We'll get in touch with you within 24–48 business hours to confirm receipt and propose an interview date.

03

First Interview

A conversation of about 45 minutes with the admissions team, which can be held online, adapted to your schedule and time zone. It's not an exam: it's an opportunity to get to know you and answer your questions.

04

Admissions Interview

ACCESS

Requirements and Documentation

Access to the Bachelor's Degree is regulated by Spanish university legislation. Check your academic situation.

Direct access for those who have completed Bachillerato and the university entrance exam, in any track. No specific stream is required.
  • Bachillerato diploma or accredited equivalent
  • Passing the EBAU/EVAU
  • GASMA has no own cutoff grade: access is determined by available places after the admissions process
Track-specific subjects are not an exclusionary requirement, but they can add to the CEU admission weighting.

Graduates of any CFGS can access the Bachelor's Degree directly without needing to pass the specific EBAU stage.
  • Higher Technician qualification in any professional field
  • Especially recommended for graduates in Hospitality and Tourism, Kitchen Management, Pastry, Restaurant Services or related fields
  • The admission grade is calculated according to CEU UCH regulations

If you already have university studies, completed or in progress, you can apply with possible credit recognition.
  • University graduates: direct access with recognition of related subjects
  • Record transfer: application for recognition of credits taken at other universities
  • Partial studies: assessed individually by the academic committee
Credit recognition may reduce the effective duration of your studies. Check with the admissions team before applying.

GASMA welcomes students from more than 80 countries. The admissions process is the same; arrival procedures have their own section.
  • EU: qualification equivalent to Spanish Bachillerato + entrance exam or accredited equivalent
  • Outside the EU: access credential issued by UNED (for systems without a bilateral agreement with Spain)
  • Language: minimum B2 level of Spanish to properly follow classes (or C1 level of English for the English track)
For visa approval, NIE, accommodation and arrival procedures, international students should plan ahead to obtain the corresponding visa. Visit International Students. The admissions process can be started from abroad.

Spanish legislation provides for specific admission routes for adults without conventional academic qualifications.
  • Over 25: specific entrance exam held by CEU UCH
  • Over 40: access through accredited work experience in the sector, no exam required
  • Over 45: specific entrance exam + personal interview
If you have experience in hospitality, gastronomy or F&B management, this may be your admission route. Contact us before starting your application.

Documentation is submitted when formalizing enrollment, not during the application process.
